Level 1 Online Courses (Fundamentals of Coaching Men’s Lacrosse) are FREE to US Lacrosse members and are ALL NEW for 2013!

US Lacrosse members who completed the Level 1 online course previously are strongly encouraged to take this new, updated version and access even more resources and information. Previous online course completion will still be credited toward CEP Level 1 certification.

The Level 1 Online Course is the first step in your journey into the Coaching Education Programe. It is the intent of the curriculum that you complete the online course, then round out your experience with a Level 1 Instructional Clinic, which provides the hands-on, in-person interaction based on the knowledge you receive from the course. Participation also makes you eligible to apply for Level 1 certification.

The Level 2 course is designed as a progression from the material presented in Level 1. Completion of this course counts toward Level 2 certification. The course is designed for coaches who are working with players who have mastered the basics of lacrosse. Completing the Level 1 online course before beginning this course is encouraged, but not required.

Upon completing the course, you will be able to teach your players how to take their game to the next level.

The How to Make Proper Contact (HTMPC) in Boys' & Men's Lacrosse course demonstrates the correct way to make and receive proper contact in boys' and men's lacrosse. The course, featuring host Sam Bradman (LXM Pro Tour & MLL's Rochester Rattlers), is an essential resource for coaches, players, parents and officials. It navigates the user through nine units of written and video instruction, graphs, drills and other US Lacrosse resources for members to use and refer to as often as needed.
