CHSAA: Colorado High School Activities Association
The Mission of the Colorado Girls Lacrosse Association (CGLA) is to provide elementary and middle school girls with the structure and tools which to teach the fundamental skills required to play lacrosse, as well as to promote the spirit and sportsmanship of the game. The CGLA Board partners with administrators, coaches, officials, players, and parents to ensure a safe, educational, and competitive environment, allowing players to develop skills and behavior consistent with a high standard of lacrosse. The mission of the Colorado Lacrosse Foundation is to grow and support the sport of lacrosse in Colorado. As the state chapter of US Lacrosse, there are 1-2 volunteer representatives from every constituency group on the Board of Directors. Each year, the Foundation runs clinics for beginners, makes grants to new and traveling teams, awards college scholarships and hosts the Annual Colorado Lacrosse Banquet.

US Lacrosse provides a leadership role in virtually every aspect of the game throughout the United States, and offers a number of programs and information services to its national membership and more than one million lacrosse enthusiasts throughout the country.
